Product catalog: let the bot sell your products
Add your products to Selesai's catalog. The bot searches them when customers ask about pricing, availability, or recommendations.
Why use the product catalog
Unlike the knowledge base (which stores unstructured documents), the product catalog stores structured product data that the bot can search and recommend directly. When a customer asks "How much is the basic plan?" or "Do you have anything under RM100?", the bot searches the catalog and gives an accurate answer with price and stock status.
Adding products

Manual entry
Go to Products → Add product. Fill in the name, price, description, stock status, category, and tags. The bot uses all of these when searching.

CSV import
Click Import CSV on the Products page. Upload a spreadsheet with columns: name, sku, description, price, currency, stockStatus, stockQty, category, tags, status. Use mode=upsert to update existing products by SKU or name.
Add images to your products! The bot can describe them in conversations. Upload a product photo and the image is stored securely in the cloud.
How the bot uses products
- Price inquiries — "How much is X?" searches the catalog and returns the exact price
- Availability — "Is X in stock?" checks stock status
- Recommendations — "What do you have under RM100?" filters by price range
- Category browsing — "Show me your services" lists products by category
Exporting products
Click Export on the Products page to download all your products as a CSV file. Useful for backup, editing in a spreadsheet, or importing into another system.
